Wrong apportionment structure was given in MM master. The apporionment structure of 30 percent to 70 percent between A and B was wrongly swapped. With this the standard costing was run. Materials got issued to order and goods received. Now after material ledger close it was discovered a huge variance in millions. How to correct this? As according to me there is no way to rectify the past released standard cost estimate. Even though all transactions are reversed it will still pick up old standard cost estimate and still post huge variances.The customer wants a feasible corrective action. Please advice.
