How to identify if a production order component belongs to phantom assembly component ?

Hello Experts,

Phantom assemblies are exploded in the production order component list by default (I am not sure which setting is done for this, please let me know). We have a requirement where in on the work order detail shop floor paper we need to show phantom assemblies in a marked section. Now if phantom indicator is set in RESB, I can identify that the production order component is a phantom, however I want to know how do I identify if a component belongs to the phantom assembly.

Example:

The BOM is:

Finished_Product

  -> Component A

  -> Component B (Phantom Assembly)

  -> Component B1

  -> Component B2

  -> Component B3 (Phantom Assembly)

  -> Component B31

  -> Component B32

  -> Component B4

  -> Component C

I want to print phantom assemblies in sections, example shown below

Component A

Component B (Since B is phantom, as found in RESB, phantom is set to X)

------------ (Section Start)

Component B1

Component B2

Component B3 (Since B3 is phantom, as found in RESB, phantom is set to X)

------------ (Section Start)

Component B31

Component B32

------------(Section End)

Component B4

------------(Section End)

Component C

My question is how do I identify that components B1, B2 and B3 belong to a phantom assembly, I can identify that component B is a phantom assembly as phantom indicator is set in RESB table against that component number.

One way I could think of was of exploding the BOM of component B, if it exists by checking in MAST then and checking against RESB entries for BOM components, if BOM component is also a phantom assembly then repeating, however is there any other simple approach I can take ? Is there any table indicator from where I can find if a component in production order is a phantom assembly component ?

Best Regards,

Ameya B.
