Inventory Flow using DSO

Hi Experts,

I want to create the Inventory flow.

Is it worth to create the Inventory flow using DSO and then Cube...... means are there any disadvantages or not suggested by SAP., because our we are trying to fetch data from datasources to DSO to Cube.

Or we can get the data directly through cube i.e no need of DSO. Which way is useful and suggested by SAP.
